Dear Parents,
My computer is having technical difficulties and I am unable to upload pictures...as SOON as I am able to I will post pictures from farm day and other things we have been doing.
For now, let me give you an update! Our farm day was a huge success:) Our students enjoyed each activity we had outside. These included: milk carton bowling, barn bean bag toss, fishing, sheep pictures, vegetable dig, milking a cow, and making "chicken feed" to eat! The students enjoyed mixing cereal, marshmallows and chocolate chips together and having a snack. We then were able to go into our parking lot and visit with real animals!!! We had chickens, baby lambs only 2 days old, goats and a pony! Also we got a ride in a giant tractor!! The faces were priceless:)
We are finishing this last week of school wrapping up all of the shapes we have learned about the past 4 weeks. Our friends are very smart and are able to point to or tell you all of the shapes! We had a great time making STAR Santa's, OVAL ornaments, TRIANGLE reindeer, SQUARE presents, RECTANGLE trains, HEART hand prints, CIRCLE snowflakes, and DIAMOND kites!!
Tomorrow is PJ day! Your child is allowed to wear their pajamas to school. We will be watching The Polar Express and eating popcorn! Thursday December 20th is our last day for the 3 year old class and Friday December 21st is the last day for our 4 year old class. All students return to school Thursday, January 3rd 2013!!! WOW:)
Happy Holidays and safe travels!
